Anchored: 30 Day House Rules

 This is your home.   Much thought and effort has gone into making it comfortable and pleasant for you.  Our goal is to glorify Christ in all we do, and your complete compliance with these rules is evidence of your commitment to Christ and your recovery.  These rules also help maintain a homelike atmosphere and make your stay a pleasant one.

CLEANLINESS

1. Residents must shower on a daily basis.
2. Clothing must be worn at all times when out of the bathroom areas.
3. All clothing and bedding must be washed weekly.
4. All haircuts must be conservative and all facial hair must be groomed in a conservative manner.
5. It is your responsibility to keep the living areas clean.

DRESS CODE

1. All clothing must be conservative. Remember, as a resident, you are representing Christ and The Lighthouse by your attire.
2. Excessive body piercing jewelry is not permitted.

MAINTENANCE

1. Make bed daily, and keep space tidy and picked up.
2. No food or open drink containers are allowed in living or sleeping areas.
3. Nails, screws, hooks, tape, stickers, etc., must not be used on the walls, woodwork or furnishings of the rooms.
4. Residents are responsible to keep the center, and parking lots clean. This is done through assigned chores.
5. It is everyone’s responsibility to manage utility costs. Turn off the lights when a room is unoccupied, and limit your time in the shower!

CONDUCT

1. Absolutely no drugs or alcohol on premises, this includes CBD products.
2. Not reporting the drug / alcohol use of another resident will also result in dismissal.
3. No cell phones on the premises unless it is turned into the Program Manager.
4. No pornographic magazines or images of any form allowed.
5. No fraternization with other residents, staff, or with any guest.
6. No Gambling, including lottery tickets or pull-tabs.
7. No profanity, racial slurs, or comments on sexual orientation.
8. Violence or threats of violence will not be tolerated.
9. Do not enter offices or the food bank without permission.
10. Be respectful and courteous to the other residents, staff, neighbors, and other guests.

PERSONAL PROPERTY

1. ALL personal property must be kept in your assigned locker in an orderly fashion. Make sure you comply with space and storage rules.
2. Stealing will result in dismissal. The Lighthouse is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
3. Narcotic medication is not allowed. Any medication that shows up on a urine screen must be pre-approved.
4. All lockers, bed areas, your person, and your vehicle are subject to inspection at any time.
5. Upon check-out, all personal property must be taken with you. Anything left will be discarded after 7 days.  All fees must be paid prior to picking up any items.
6. No knives or other weapons are allowed on premises.

GENERAL

1. All residents of the 30-day program will remain on the grounds at 3000 E State Blvd. Leaving the premises without staff approval will result in dismissal.
2. Attend all scheduled groups or meetings.
3. “Lights Out” is at 11:00 PM, unless otherwise directed; please be respectful of those who go to bed early.
4. Any contact with individuals outside the facility by phone must be in front of a staff member.
5. Vehicles are not to be kept on premises without direct approval of the Program Director.
6. There may be additional required events; please make sure you are in attendance.
7. Supervised urine drug screens and breathalyzers will be administered at random.
8. Smoking is discouraged but allowed in designated areas only. No smoking or using tobacco products (including e-cigarettes) inside our Community Center, recovery homes or vehicles.

10. Injuries must be reported immediately.
11. No un-authorized guests allowed. Guests will be restricted to visiting hours only.
12. Visitors must be approved by house manager, follow center rules, stay in the visitor’s area, and leave when visiting hours are over.

NOTE:  Any rules that are violated or known to be violated, may result in dismissal.
